HANCOCK - The Hancock man who went missing last week has turned up in good condition.

John Posega, 50, contacted a friend from a local hospital this morning, said Hancock Police Chief Mike Beaudoin. The police received notification of the contact at 9 a.m.

"He's not physically injured, and he is in a local hospital," Beaudoin said.

Beaudoin was not sure how long Posega had been in the hospital, or his whereabouts prior to that.

Posega was reported missing last week after failing to show up for work on July 2.

The case is now considered closed.
