Big bats for Stanton, BlueSky

TOIVOLA - Stanton pulled away from Mosquito Inn/Computer Mechanix in the latter stages for a 15-6 Twilight League road victory Tuesday.

MI/CM took a 3-2 lead after two innings and the teams matched two-run frames in the third, but Stanton scored 11 of the game's last 12 runs, including six in the fifth inning alone.

Josh Koskela drove in four runs on two doubles and a triple while Mike Richards went 3-for-5 with an RBI. Josh Hibbard was 2-for-4 and scored four times. Daron Durocher also had two hits and drove in three runs.

For MI/CM, Rexx Janowiak and Ian Diffenderfer both posted a pair of hits apiece.

DOLLAR BAY - Scott Storm tossed a complete game for BlueSky Health in a 12-5 win over Pat's Foods

Storm got help from Johnny Raisanen and Paul Moyryla, who put up three hits apiece. Brian Juopperi and Storm both posted a pair of doubles.

C.J. Lepisto was 3-for-3 with a homer for Pat's. Lee Naugle also homered and Carl Roscoe posted a pair of hits.

Naugle took the pitching loss, allowing six earned runs over four innings.
