HANCOCK - Three members of the Hancock Post 186 American Legion baseball team will take a bow tonight at the Mid-Pen League All-Star Game in Channing.
Luke Paul (pitcher/infield) hit .455 this season with three home runs and 27 RBIs. On the mound, he was 6-2 this season with a 2.18 ERA and 74 strikeouts. Tyler LaDuron (pitcher/second base) hit .444 with four homers, 17 doubles and 32 RBIs, going 7-4 as a pitcher with a 2.38 ERA and 57 strikeouts. Zach Hill (first base) hit .373. He had a home run and 16 RBIs this season.
Hancock finished its first season of Mid-Pen League play in second place in the North Division with a 15-5 record.
Hancock is currently 28-8 overall and finishes up the regular season with doubleheaders at Escanaba Friday and Menominee Saturday before the state Zone Tournament begins in Sault Ste. Marie next week.
