North Pointe, Erickson Crowley/Osmose tighten standings

HANCOCK - North Pointe Trucking easily took care of Center Ice, 21-6 Monday night at Hancock Driving Park, creating a tie for Division A second place behind McGann's, with one regular season game remaining.

Brent Jurmu, Ryan Jurmu, Ross Kinnunen, Darren Kinnunen and Nate Sturos all had three hits for the winners. Darren Kinnunen and Sturos had homers.

Mark Nordstrom picked up the pitching win.

No stats were available for Center Ice, or for the nightcap at Hancock Driving Park either, between Rippa Products and Miller's Recreation.

Division C's Erickson Crowley/Osmose split a doubleheader in Hurontown, losing game one 19-14 to Lakes Dairyland before rallying to take game two against Continental Fire Company 20-14.

Kevin LaRoux, Jason Wilks, Allen Klutts and Matt Jarvi all had four-hit games for Lakes Dairyland, while Jeff Miller (HR), Andy Bourdeau and Brandon Mukavitz had three hits apiece for Erickson Crowley.

Miller and Tony Hebert had four hits in game two, as did Continental's Logan Rastello.

Continental, Nutini's Supper Club and Erickson Crowley are separated by 1.5 games heading into Wednesday's regular season finales.
