LANSING, Mich. - William O. "Humpy" Opland, 94, a former resident of the Copper Country, passed away on March 4, 2012, in Lansing.
Bill was born April 15, 1917, the oldest son of William and Ingebord Opland.
A memorial service will be held at the Erickson Crowley Funeral Home in Calumet on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jon Brown of Pillar Church in Holland, Mich. officiating.
The Erickson Crowley Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.
