HUBBELL - Glen M. Griffin, 48, of Hubbell, passed away July 26, 2012, at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium as a result of complications from diabetes.
He was born February 21, 1964, in Laurium, a son of Bud and Carol Griffin. He graduated from the Lake Linden-Hubbell High School and Michigan Tech with a degree in Civil Engineering. After college, he served in the U.S. Army as a First Lieutenant.
He worked locally for Calumet Electronics.
Glen is survived by a daughter, Katie; a son, Jack; and the mother of his children, Suyeon; his parents, Bud and Carol of Lake Linden; a sister Cindy Griffin (Ray Kramer); and a brother, Eric Griffin; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31 in the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden with Fr. Francis Dobrzenski to officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 until time of services on Tuesday.
