A woman has been taken to Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium following a one-vehicle accident in Eagle Harbor Township.
The incident occurred at 2:45 p.m. on U.S. 41 about one mile north of Gratiot Lake Road, where the car left the road and struck a tree. As no one witnessed the accident, the Keweenaw County Sheriff's Department will conduct a reconstruction of the scene.
