CHASSELL - Bambu defeated Favorites 7-4 for the Copper Country women's fastpitch league championship Monday.
Jen Denomme recorded a two-RBI triple for the winners, while winning pitcher Jada Riutta struck out four, allowing six hits and a walk.
Laura Ruohonen struck out five but took the loss.
Bambu came from behind to defeat BP Oil in the semifinals, 13-11.
Denomme hit a two-run homer, while Tina Puuri added three singles and Riutta and Kinnunen two apiece.
Jill Toorongian and Liz Richards put up two singles apiece in defeat.
