Crew members are seen working on the roof at the Keweenaw County Courthouse Wednesday afternoon. The roof was removed mid-July and crews began replacing the roof with new material after. Robert E. Johnson Contracting of Lake Linden won the bid for the project and it is expected to be completed this month. Because the courthouse is on the National Register of Historic Places, it was vital the county board chose materials similar to those used when built.
