To the editor:
The annual Hancock Rotary silent sports raffle was once again a successful venture with thousands of dollars being raised to support the Hancock Beach.
We would like to thank everyone who purchased a ticket and all of those businesses that made this raffle possible, including Downwind Sports, The Bike Shop and Surplus Outlet who all made sizable donations and/or gave us a great discount to offer great prizes.
We'd also like to thank the Chassell Lions Strawberry Festival committee and Portage Health Canal Run officials for allowing us to sell our tickets at their great events.
The money we raise during this fundraiser will help keep our beach in pristine condition for generations to come.
