HOUGHTON - Portage Lake Golf Course recently crowned its junior champions.
Stephen Butina was the winner in the boys' 17-and-under class, shooting a 77 to defeat Brendan Longhini by a stroke.
Noelle Polakowski shot an 87 to win the girls' 17-and-under division.
Wyatt Liston and Austin Mikesch went to a playoff to decide the 14-and-under boys after both players shot 78. Liston prevailed on the first playoff hole.
Taryn Kaurala was the best in 14-and-under girls, shooting 52 for nine holes to defeat Jillian Butvilas by a shot.
In boys' 12-and-under, Dawson McKay's 45 was the best. Seth Helman, Wyatt Tuoriniemi, George Butvilas and Trevor Tchida rounded out the top five.
Kaaren Listen took home the girls' 12-and-under title.
In 10-and-under, Jiseung Choi was the champ and Payton Dube the runner-up.
