To the editor:
We had our 18th annual Agate Beach Music Jamboree Aug. 4 and 5. It was the greatest weekend ever.
We want to say thank you to all of the musicians and singers who came to sing and play. You are all the best. The talent at this jamboree is the best you can find. We extended each day by two hours and it was perfect.
Also, thank you to everyone that came to listen. The crowd was large each day and to see everyone enjoying themselves was great. Thank you to those that helped both of us, Pat had hip surgery 11 days before the jamboree. We couldn't have done it without your help. Thanks to all who brought food or pop. Pat is off crutches, is using a cane and doing well.
We want you all to know how special each of you musicians are to us. We look forward to our 19th Jamboree set for Aug. 3 and 4, 2013. We look forward to seeing you all there.
