LAKE LINDEN - Richard Gamache, 69, of Lake Linden, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Aug. 16, 2012.
He was born Dec. 22, 1942, a son of William and Mary (Roberts) Gamache.
He attended school in Ahmeek. Richard worked as a minor, carpenter and logger. He was a member of Peninsula Christian Church in Dollar Bay. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and metal detecting.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Wanda; a son, Rock William; and a step-son, Bobby Jo.
He is survived by four children, Dean (Lisa) Gamache of Ohio, Laura (Rodney) LaRoux of Lake Linden, Christine Gamache of Hubbell, Roxanne (Brad) Barrette of Dollar Bay; 14 grandkids; three great-grandsons; and a sister, Marie Lawrence.
A funeral service is planned for a later date. The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
