To the editor:
I was reading the feel good article on the Brockway Mountain Drive project Aug. 24 when I came to the part stating "The signage project has been awarded to Conservation By Design of Silver City in New Mexico." Is there not some company in the Upper Peninsula or at least Michigan that could do this signage?
I am extremely disappointed that a local company is not reaping the benefit of the job, not to mention the pride of a Michigan company's workmanship for thousands to view in the future.
