Concert aids residents

September 6, 2012
The Daily Mining Gazette

To the editor:

The Omega House board of directors, members of staff and volunteers would like to thank everyone who made its 10th Annual Fall Benefit Concert a rousing success.

Breathe Owl Breathe artists Micah Middaugh, Andrea Moreno Beals and Trevor Hobbs brought their special blend of rock and classic music with great energy to the audience at The Continental Fire Company Sept. 1. To view pictures of the concert, login to Facebook and go to The Continental Fire Company, Houghton.

We want to thank Omega House volunteer Cherilyn Frost for her great help during the concert. A special thanks goes to our sponsors, Continental Fire Company owners Adam and Tom Yeoman and Jon Julien, Algomah Acres Honey Farm, Barbara Hardy and Rick Loduha, Salon by Michelle, Bucky Beach and Julie Belew, Cindy Griffin and Ray Kramer, Cindy and Walter Mytty, Curtis Webb and Keren Tischler, Faye and Bob Carr, Debbie Stouffer and Edwin Kautto, Felix and Virginia Fournier, George Dewey and Andrea Puzakulich, Ben Kauppila and Lisa Clouthier, Ray's Polish Fire Hot Sauce, Ren and Paul Olson, Larry Skindzel, Lake Superior Hospice, Selena Okler, Steve Uren and Carol Carr, ThermoAnalytics, Terry Kinzel and Sue Ellen Kingsley, Wanda and Mike Kolb, and Mike Gage and Debbie Mues.

The financial support we receive through the fall concert helps Omega House serve all residents who turn to us for end-of-life care. No one is turned away for financial reasons.

Donations from members of the community to Omega House continue to ensure that residents who do not have the means to pay are still given the next best thing to home at Omega house.
