Peace of mind for family

September 29, 2012
The Daily Mining Gazette

To the editor:

My family and I would like to thank Keaghan's Kennels, not only for their hospitality but also for their generosity in boarding our dog "Willy," free of charge over two weekends, during the month of September.

Our family has had to travel to Green Bay and Sault Ste. Marie due to medical issues, so we couldn't take Willy with us.

One feature that impressed me about Keaghan's Kennels' boarding protocol was the fact that Willy was able to stay indoors, so there was constant human interaction, which Willy enjoys.

When it came time for us to pick up Willy, I asked what the fee was and Steve Wercinski, the owner, said: "There is no boarding fee. Buy the children a 'Happy Meal' or some ice cream instead."

He then presented me with some nice pictures he'd taken of Willy during his stay, also free of charge.
