To the editor:
Major news media have acknowledged that the recent violence in Bengahzi killing four Americans was an act of terrorism.
Although not the cause of violence, the anti-Islamic video in question was unwarranted. It is understood that it is good to show "understanding and respect" toward the various religions. But is similar sentiment expressed when Christianity is bad-mouthed or put down?
Interestingly, the Christian faith was conspicuous by its absence in the "different faiths" letter to the editor (Sept. 29/30). So the question is: to whom are these individuals praying?
It appears that these people are trying to right the wrongs of the world via their own efforts instead of God's. Since the creation of mankind, this has never been possible long term.
There is only one true God according to the KJV bible. Also, as important as prayer is, one's heart must be right with God before any prayers will even be heard by Him (John 9:31).
