SOUTH RANGE - Joseph Patrick Drake, 68, passed away peacefully Oct. 19, 2012 at Stanton House in South Range.
Joe was born in Crystal Falls on February 27, 1944.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ella (Kallio) Drake of L'Anse.
Surviving are his sister, Jo-Ann (Drake) Cartwright of Aurora, Colo.; cousins, Karen (Drake) Semke of Sheboygan, Wis., Suzanne (Rampanelli) Bird of Northbrook, Ill., Gail (Garbutt) Meyer of Pensacola, Fla. and Robert Kallio of Appleton, Wis, as well as their families.
A memorial service will be held at Stanton House on Friday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. led by Pastor Amy Terhune of the First United Methodist Church in Hancock. A luncheon will follow. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in L'Anse.
