Huuki has earned vote

October 27, 2012
The Daily Mining Gazette

To the editor:

I encourage all of the pro-life, pro-family voters in the 110th district to get behind Matt Huuki. Matt's stance on respecting the sanctity of human life is clear, and his record reflects a man of principle who takes the time to see that his policies are well-considered. His re-election is critical so that his work in Lansing to create more good-paying Upper Peninsula jobs can continue. As a small business owner, he makes it his business to see Michigan prosper.

Matt's mission is to solve problems and identify solutions for us, and I know personally that Matt is approachable and easy to talk to.

He has successfully partnered with the tribes in Baraga to help close the loopholes when non-tribal individuals seek to obtain tax-exempt property and thereby short-change their communities. He has joined with veterans' groups to make sure that our deserving veterans receive all the benefits that are coming to them.

Matt is about fairness, hard work and God-honoring values. He has earned my vote.
