To the editor:
I am 20 years old and am about to vote in my very first senatorial election. I take my responsibility to vote seriously and I made sure to do my research on the candidates. I first looked at our incumbent Senator, Debbie Stabenow. Now I understand why they call her "Do-nothing Debbie." After 12 years in the senate, all she has done is had a few buildings renamed. Wow, that isn't leadership.
Pete Hoekstra, on the other hand, has promised to protect Medicare for my grandparents, save Social Security for my generation and help promote policies that grow jobs. Those are the types of solutions that we need. Please join me in voting for Pete Hoekstra on Nov 6.
