To the editor:
Before Obamacare I bought a high deductible plan with a savings account. My premiums are very low and because my insurance negotiates with healthcare providers I pay less out of pocket than those completely uninsured. Obamacare has outlawed it.Recently I went for a procedure to an inner ear specialist. The service was excellent with little waiting. The clinic was owned by the doctors. Obamacare has outlawed doctor owned hospitals. I may be able to get "regular" insurance with all the items a small group of government officials is now compelling insurance companies to cover but it would cost 10 times more and other taxpayers would probably have to contribute.
Do we want our healthcare decisions being made by politicians? Do women want cervical cancer screenings and mammograms cut back so contraceptives are free? Do we want to be subjected to the edit of a government board what treatments we're allowed in old age?
Once the Obamacare government regimen is installed there is no turning back. Romney has worked with Democrats in his state to come up with reasonable solutions and will do so for healthcare. Obama demonizes opponents, sets up inaccessible government boards, and issues executive orders. Something to think about before you vote.
