Lake must be protected

November 3, 2012
The Daily Mining Gazette

To the editor:

It's been some time since Verna Mize went on her mission to save Lake Superior by putting an end to the dumping of taconite tailings into the lake. We want political leaders that will continue her pursuit in keeping Lake Superior void of pollutants. Rick Kasprzak who is running for Houghton County Commissioner and Scott Dianda who is running for state representative will do everything in their power to continue her quest for cleaner water.

Please, for the sake of our future generations, vote for Rick Kasprzak and Scott Dianda. Our lake is a very precious commodity. It must be protected.
