Keweenaw County races

EAGLE RIVER - The following township and school board races in Keweenaw County will be found on Tuesday's ballot.

Allouez Township

Kevin Gherna (R) is running unopposed for supervisor. Renee Pinsonneault (NPA) is running unopposed for clerk. Amy L. Garrow (R) runs unopposed for treasurer. Mark W. Aho (R) is running against Victor Tanakenen (D) for trustee. Larry C. Kristapovich and Phyllis M. Locatelli are running for two school board seats for the Public Schools of Calumet, Laurium & Keweenaw.

Eagle Harbor Township

Rich Probst, Jr., (R) is running against Edward A. Klalel (NPA) for supervisor. Jeane Olson (Democratic) is running unopposed for clerk. Ann Johnson (R) is running unopposed for treasuer. Connie Eddy (R) is running against Richard Harrer (R) for trustee. Larry C. Kristapovich and Phyllis M. Locatelli are running for two school board seats for the Public Schools of Calumet, Laurium & Keweenaw.

Grant Township

Ken Stigers (R) and Alexander Protzel (D) are in competition for the supervisor position. Kelly Coltas (D) is running unopposed for clerk. Karen Karl (R) is running unopposed for treasurer. Ned. L. Huwatschok (R) is running against Art Davis (D) for trustee. Christine Musiel, Carolyn G. Stevens and Patricia Ann Walters are running for three Grant Township Schools board member seats.

Houghton Township

James R. Vivian (R) is running unopposed for supervisor. Carol Jones (R) is running unopposed for clerk. Shari Chase (D) is running unopposed for treasurer. Mary Long (R) is running against Jack Treganowan (R) for trustee. Larry C. Kristapovich and Phyllis M. Locatelli are running for two school board seats for the Public Schools of Calumet, Laurium & Keweenaw.

Sherman Township

Rob Middlemis-Brown (D) is running unopposed for supervisor. Adeline Schmidt (R) is running unopposed for clerk. Marilyn V. Kastelic (D) is running unopposed for treasuer. Robert Strykowski (R), Denean Connell (D), Frank M. Kastolic (NPA), Dudley E. Martin (NPA, Beverley Spehar (NPA) and John S. Wilheim (NPA) are running for trustee.

Lori Ambuehl, Jeffrey Dennis and Bob Erickson are running for two board member positions for Lake Linden-Hubbell Public Schools. Tom McConnon is running for a partial term on the same school board.
