HANCOCK - With just 11 skaters suited up Friday night, the Finlandia women's hockey team fell 3-0 to Concordia but were outshot 49-5, belying the final margin of defeat.
Concordia took the lead for good midway through the first period when Carly Piras scored the game winner from a Jenna Brown assist. Two more scores in the second period gave Concordia a comfortable lead.
Finlandia did not attempt a shot on net in the third period.
The Lions are now 0-7 on the year.
