Food pantry appreciates support

December 22, 2012
The Daily Mining Gazette

To the editor:

Thank you, thank you, thank you so very, very much for generosity.

Our food pantry has received donations from the WLUC-TV Can-a-thon which locally was handled by WOLV Radio. The Daughters of Italy, the Jeffers High School and the local Councils of the Knights of Columbus have also donated additional food.

Thank you to the Campioni Enterprise Golf Outing for donating the proceeds to the Hancock St. Vincent de Paul food pantry. Thank you to the Calumet Art Center for donating proceeds from the Soup Bowl project.

Thank you to everyone who has donated one can, or one case or one pallet of food. The need is great and no one should go hungry.

Thank you and God bless.
