To the editor:
I had an unexpected and totally pleasant surprise. A stranger gave me a card and wished me a happy holiday. "Santa's Helper" made my day, my entire season so much happier. There was a $20 bill inside, which I contributed to 31 Backpacks, an organization to prevent childhood hunger in the Copper Country. Thanks again to my "Santa's Helper" and to Melissa Maki of 31 Backpacks for showing me once again the kindness and caring of my home.
