To the editor:
We wanted to say thank you to Bonnie Harrer and the Shepherd of the Sea church in Copper Harbor. They held a wonderful fundraiser for the Copper Harbor Playground Project in their new multi-purpose room at the church. The chili was delicious and perfect for a rainy day. The chili, along with the games and baked goods auction raised a substantial amount for the project.
Our committee continues to be awed by the support of folks in Copper Harbor as well as the entire Keweenaw and beyond. Thank you for all your hard work and generosity.
