Pauline M. Mansell

ONTONAGON - Pauline M. Mansell, 82, of Ontonagon, passed away Dec. 27, 2012, at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital.

She was born July 9, 1930, to Napoleon and Cecile (Poisson) Parent in Hubbell. Following her graduation from Lake Linden High School, Pauline served in the United States Army as part of the Women's Army Corps.

Pauline worked in Ontonagon at Wagar's Restaurant as a waitress and at Maple Manor Nursing Home as an aide for a number of years.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She crocheted hundreds of afghans that were given away to the community through St. Vincent dePaul Society. Pauline enjoyed fishing and camping. She was an avid fan of the Packers, Tigers and Red Wings.

Pauline is survived by her children, Kenny, George, Karen, David (Barbara), Mike (Debbie), Steve, Susan (Robert) Baunach and Jimmy; numerous grandchildren; sisters, Doris Bartono, Joan Francis, Barbara Johnson and Kathleen Soderberg; a brother, Dale Parent.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis; and son, Thomas.
