Police began seeking Ojala and Christina Gagnon, 32, of Calumet in December after allegedly writing a string of bad checks.

Gagnon is still on the run with her son, who has not been to school since a family disturbance at Thanksgiving. There are warrants for her arrest and the son has been entered as a missing endangered child. She is reported to be in the Green Bay area.

Ojala's bond was set at 10 percent cash of $5,000. His preliminary hearing was set for Jan. 28.
