Donations appreciated

January 19, 2013
The Daily Mining Gazette

To the editor:

Once again, the community has given so much to our Christmas effort. We just want to say thank you.

Thank you to all who gave to our red kettles and made donations through the mail. This will help us throughout the year. Thank you to all who donated food, clothing and toys. Your generosity made a brighter Christmas for many families.

Thank you to all the volunteers who donated their time ringing bells, sorting and packing food, sorting toys and helping on distribution day in so many ways. We couldn't do it without you.

Thank you to Pat's IGA in Hancock, especially Jack, for assisting with the turkeys.

Thank you to Walmart, Jerry and Peggy in particular, for all the help with our food orders.
