CALUMET - A hot shooting night helped Calumet roll to its 10th win of the year, 71-32 over Hancock.
The Copper Kings (10-2, 4-1 WestPAC) made 10 three-pointers and shot 28-of-64 (43.7 percent) from the field.
"We were able to swing the ball against the zone and get some good looks. When we shoot that well, we can put points on the board on a hurry," Calumet coach Don Hill said.
Leading the offensive effort were sophomore Lexie Rowe, who notched a career-high 24 points and her fourth game of 20 or more this season, and freshman Clara Loukus, who drilled four triples for a 12-point night.
"Everybody in our program knows she can play at this level," Hill said of Loukus, who is in just her fifth varsity appearance.
The Copper Kings led 11-4 after a quarter and used their pressure to put it away by the half, taking a 35-9 lead into the locker room.
"We were able to pressure them in the first half and they had a lot of trouble getting into any offensive flow," Hill said.
Molly Berg and Taylor Mattson co-led Hancock (4-10, 0-5 WestPAC) with eight points.
The Bulldogs host Dollar Bay next Monday.
Calumet, which got 10 points off the bench from Tristan Baranowski, won the JV game and is at L'Anse Thursday.

Baraga 34, Chassell 24
BARAGA - Taking advantage of its best defensive performance this season in conference play, Baraga evened its record at 7-7 by beating Chassell.
Key to the effort was holding Chassell dynamo Jamie Dompier to seven points, which equaled a season low.
"Obviously stopping Jamie was a big factor. Last time we played she had 25 points on us. We really keyed in on our defense making sure we helped off her," Baraga coach Mariah Dunham said.
Dompier fouled out early in the fourth quarter.
The teams were tied at 15 early in the third quarter, but Baraga made its run and held a 24-18 lead after three quarters and expanded it to the finish.
Baraga got its scoring by committee, with Brittany Nieskes and Shannon Fish contributing nine points apiece and Jenna Heikkinen eight. Fish had 12 rebounds.
The Lady Vikings, who are 4-3 in CCC play, are at Jeffers Thursday.
Kirsten Daavettila of Chassell led all scorers with 10 points. Chassell hosts Lake Linden-Hubbell Thursday.

LAKE LINDEN - The Lakes breezed their way back to the .500 mark as well, as Abby Sutherland's 18 points keyed a blowout win over Watersmeet.
Sutherland, a freshman called up from JV at the beginning of the month, upped her average to 9.9 points per game in seven contests.
She was one of several Lakes forcing turnovers and transition opportunities in the first quarter, as the Lakes jumped out to a 27-5 lead.
"We were getting some steals, we were getting behind them, we were getting our layups and we did convert a number of opportunities when we had them," LL-H coach Timm Gast said.
Brooke Corrigan added 11 points and Sarah Audette 10 for the Lakes (6-6). Morgan Gast and Brittni Kisul recorded a dozen rebounds apiece.
LL-H, which won the JV game handily, begins six consecutive road games Thursday night at Chassell.
