HOUGHTON - The identity of the person who bought a $19 million lottery ticket at Festival Foods Tuesday night remains unknown.
Lottery officials said the woman who bought the ticket was the sole winner for Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing.
"The woman had called this morning to find out what she needed to do, but she didn't leave her name," said Festival Foods assistant manager Sherri Brey. "We're all in limbo like everybody else, but it's pretty exciting otherwise."

Festival Foods in Houghton sold a $19 million winning lottery ticket to a woman Tuesday night. The woman’s identity remains unknown.
It's not the first winning ticket Festival Foods has sold, Brey said, but it's definitely the biggest.
"We've had maybe in the Daily 3 or 4 a $5,000 ticket before," she said. "But nothing like a $19 million winner."
The winning numbers were: 5, 10, 26 and 44. The Mega Ball number was 46.
The Michigan Lottery has yet to reveal the winner's name. The jackpot for Friday's drawing now drops to $12 million.
