From left, Barb Rose, executive director of the Keweenaw Community Foundation, is presented a thank you in the shape of a band-aid from Health Occupation Students of America members Kyle Keranen, Jenna Ollanketo and Brooke Corrigan. The thanks is on behalf of the 80 students in the Copper Country Intermediate School District’s Allied Health program. The KCF awarded $5,000 from the Portage Health Community Health Grant to the Career Tech program. This is the third grant the KCF has awarded to HOSA.
