Effort must be made

April 5, 2013
The Daily Mining Gazette

To the editor:

There are four ways to learn: by visual stimulation, by hearing, by writing, and by asking (speech) questions.

The wisdom seeker will eventually, over decades, develop the ability to both ask and answer all of his or her own questions without further assistance. This, by itself, is a miracle.

With enough individual miracles, we can create a new and more positive society in which we take the lead on deciding and instituting domestic affairs nationwide while the national and state governments merely bring up the rear and provide support if we need it.

We must make the effort or forever accept that dysfunctional politicians will never place any value on what we say or do.
