VILLA PARK, Ill. -Michael Joseph Lynch, 49, formerly of Villa Park, Ill., passed away April 26, 2013.

Born in Cleveland, OH, he was a lifelong devoted Cleveland Browns fan.

He was an accomplished construction worker providing home and business repairs and modifications to many in Michigan and Illinois. He was active in the Ancient Artifact Restoration Society and honored for his work in finding and preserving artifacts in the ancient mine pits in Michigan.

He is survived by his mother, Jane Frances (Don) Mingesz; his father, Michael Joseph (Bonnie) Lynch, Sr.; sisters, Sharrie (Jeff) Aaron, Laura (Bob) Velasquez and Christine (Gary) Rush; brothers, Brian (Denise), James and Matthew (Ernie); beloved uncle of nieces and nephews; many friends.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park, Ill. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. Alexander Church, 300 S. Cornell, Villa Park, Ill. Interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
