Wilma R. Zollinger

CLARKSVILLE - Wilma R. Zollinger, 83, of Clarksville, formerly of Houghton, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013, after a long illness with Parkinsons.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Howard; children, Glenna Zollinger-Russell; Lynn Zollinger (Tim Matthews), Karen (Sherman) Levin; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson.

Wilma was a talented pianist, soloist and entertainer.

She went to Grove City College in Grove City, Penn., majoring in Music Education and Performing. Wilma had spent many years working with children as a music teacher, pre-school teacher and director.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 11 in Elmdale Church of the Nazarene, 11830 Drew Rd. (64 Street), Alto with Pastor Nate Gray officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkinson Research Foundation, PO Box 96318, Washington, D.C. 2009-6318.
