To the Editor:
On Monday, April 29, as I turned on to the Tapiola Road from Kurt's Corner heading north toward Houghton, I saw our area Daily Mining Gazette delivery Car ahead pull to the side of the road to deliver a Gazette. In the driveway a white haired lady was bent over fiddling with a bent reflector pole that marked a drain pipe. The Gazette driver, Matt DesRochers, got out of his car and quickly straightened the lady's pole. Later I learned Matt also helped fix the reflectors.
It was a simple but beautiful act of random kindness.
