High School Scholarships and encourages all High School graduates to pursue additional training and education in order to be qualified for available jobs and to increase lifetime earnings; and the ability of local businesses to expand depends on the availability of a trained and qualified local workforce. The Keweenaw Economic Development Alliance (KEDA) and its Corporate Partners are pleased to announce the following $500 Scholarships to graduating High School seniors who have chosen

KEDA is a private, non-profit, regional economic development organization that assists manufacturing, technology and service companies in Baraga, Houghton and Keweenaw counties to create jobs for local residents. This is accomplished by providing tailored, hands-on assistance to local businesses to help them expand, by encouraging local entrepreneurs to start up new businesses and by attracting businesses to the area.
