HOUGHTON - A four-run eighth inning gave American Legion Post 90 a 10-9 softball win over Rippa Products in Copper Country men's slowpitch play at Miller Memorial Field in Laurium.
Kevin LaRoux led the winners with three singles, while Joe Rivest had a triple and a home run.
Miller's Lanes/The Edge/906 Enterprises overcame a 13-run seventh inning by Pat's Foods with just one run in the ninth to win 26-25.

No stats were submitted for the winners, but Pat's got five hits from Jace Fritzler and four from Logan Rastello and Ryan Gerbig. Rastello and Max LeSatz had home runs, while Henry Baron, Tony Carley and Christopher Fischer had three-hit games.
