Thanks to all who helped make the Joe Evans Classic for Omega House a Great Success!
June 8 was a picture perfect spring Keweenaw day for the Omega House 11th Annual Golf Outing. The Joe Evans Classic, which took place at the Michigan Tech Portage Lake Golf Course, was a great success and benefit to Omega House, providing end-of-life care in the Keweenaw. The outing was organized by Deb Young, and Carol Pfefferkorn, with help from members of the board and a team of Omega House volunteers. This year's winning team bested its last year's score, when for a second year in a row, Mike, Kyle and Brett Hauswirth came in with a resounding 55.
