Leslie Roger Badge

MARQUETTE - Leslie (Snoogie) Roger Badge passed away on May 11th, 2013, at the D. J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans.

Snoogie was born on September 1st, 1936, in Laurium, to Roger James Badge and Mae Olive Lahnala. He spent most of his early years in the Copper Country, and proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1955-1959. He then attended Ferris State University where he earned a degree in Survey Engineering.

Snoogie enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman and skier.

He is survived by his two sons; Scott and Sean Badge of Gwinn; grandson; Ian Badge; sister; Lisa Berkel (Gordon); brother; Harrison Badge (Kathy).

He was preceded in death by his brother, Harlan Badge.

There will be a small burial service in the Ahmeek Cemetery at 4 p.m. on July 23, where his ashes will be buried. American Legion will be present for a Veteran's Service.
