HANCOCK - Pat's Foods bagged up game one of a Twilight League doubleheader with second-place BlueSky Health 6-2.
BlueSky produced a 6-1 win in the second game, a contest that could have significant postseason implications, as it kept BlueSky ahead in the standings.
In the opening game, Pat's racked up its runs early, scoring twice in the first inning and three times in the third.
That was more than enough support for ace Lee Naugle, who allowed five hits and walked one while striking out four. BlueSky picked up both its runs in the fifth.
Offensively, Chris Nielsen had a pair of hits and drove in two runs.
In the nightcap, BlueSky pitcher Ray Wojtala held Pat's to a run on four hits.
Nielsen had two of those hits and scored a run.
No offensive stats were available for BlueSky.
BlueSky has a trip to L'Anse Thursday, while Pat's is at Stanton.
Pat's would pass BlueSky on winning percentage if it and L'Anse win, or pending several outstanding rained out contests from earlier in the season.
The second game of the doubleheader was a make-up, but Pat's has had five games rained out or suspended this season.
