Raymond D. Dextrom

CALUMET - Raymond D. Dextrom, 73, a lifelong resident of Calumet, passed away on Sunday at Our Lady of Mercy in Hubbell.

He was born February 15, 1940 in Laurium, a son of Raymond P. and Irene (Sarya) Dextrom. He attended local schools and worked at various jobs including commercial fishing, farming and being the swamper on the coal truck. He also worked for Lake View Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Margaret Dextrom.

He is survived by one sister, Marie Dryge of Calumet.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013 in the Erickson-Crowley- Peterson Funeral Home. Pastor Richard Eskola will officiate.

Friends may call the Funeral Home on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m.

Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery.
