The South Range Fire Department, as well as Sparky the dog from?Adams Township, demonstrate fire suppressing foam for students from South?Range Elementary. Each year a fire safety demonstration is performed for South Range Elementary students with Adams Township, South Range and?Toivola Fire Departments participating. In addition to the foam, the hallways were also "smoked"?and fire alarms were set off in order to give students a real-life example of how to escape from a burning structure. Students also got a chance to look through a thermal imaging camera, which is used to find people who may be trapped in a burning structure.
