ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Pamella J. Gasparovich, 57, passed away after a short battle with cancer on Friday, October 4, 2013, at the Arbor Hospice Residence in Ann Arbor.
She was born February 10, 1956, in Fort Riley, Kan., the daughter of Melvin and Edith (Maki) Marshall.
On October 30, 1993, at the Washtenaw Country Club in Ann Arbor, she married Frank K. Gasparovich and he survives. She graduated from Hancock Central High in 1974 and earned an Associate's Degree from Suomi College (Finlandia University) in 1987. An advocate for animal rescue organizations, she loved all animals, especially her pets.
Survivors in addition to her husband include children, Deborah (Jonathan Payne) Marshall, and Andrew and Matthew Gasparovich; her parents, Edith and Melvin Marshall; her sister, Debra (Jim) Kilmer; and her special niece, Liisa (Kilmer) Erskine.
Pamella was preceded in death by her brother, Marvin Marshall; and other special niece, Kelly Kilmer.
Cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Service will take place on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline with Rev. Dr. James E. Tuttle officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Copper Country Humane Society.
Envelopes will be available at the funeral home where friends may begin calling on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.
