Judith A. Pesola

ELO - Judith A. Pesola, 69, of Elo, died on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Cypress Manor Nursing Home in Hancock.

She was born in Trimountain, on February 27, 1944, a daughter of the late Eino and Loraine (Scholar) Kyllonen and attended the Adams Township schools.

She was married to Paul Pesola, Sr., on December 27, 1960.

Judith was employed as a nurse's aide at Cypress Manor and, prior to retirement, worked at the Houghton County Medical Care Facility in Hancock.

Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Paul, Sr.; one daughter, Jenise (James) Klein of Elo; a son, Paul, Jr., of Elo; four grandchildren, Ryan, Jasmyne, James and Arianna; four great-grandchildren, Hunter, Lily, Crimson and Austin; a sister, Sharon (Paul) Pietila of Chassell; a brother, Dennis (Eleanore) Kyllonen of Dollar Bay; a sister-in-law, Paulette Greene of Indiana; a special aunt, Marie Kurtti of Arbor Green, Houghton; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at the Elo Cemetery with Pastor Chuck Bylkas to officiate.

Arrangements are being handled by the Jukuri-Antila Funeral Home of Hancock, Antila Funeral Service, Inc.
