MARQUETTE - The Houghton-Hancock girls' ski team claimed another win Thursday at the Marquette Invitational at Marquette Mountain.
They had 35 points to finish ahead of host Marquette's 64.
Leslie Hamar finished second in both disciplines, behind Mandy Haferkorn of Iron Mountain-Kingsford in slalom and Gabby Gencheff of Marquette in giant slalom.
Houghton-Hancock had three other skiers finish with a top five: Martine Lovaas Hop and Mary Maroste going fourth and fifth in slalom and Jenna Stein taking third in giant slalom.
The Houghton-Hancock boys finished fourth behind winning Marquette and did not have a top-five finisher.
