HANCOCK - Both Finlandia basketball teams wrapped up the regular season with wins Saturday over Northland International.
In the men's game, Finlandia upped its shooting percentage to 55.8 in the second half to pull away from the Pioneers for a 93-72 win.
Though they led nearly wire-to-wire, the Lions used a 12-0 run in the middle of the half to gain separation.
Five players scored in double figures, led by 24 points and six threes from Matt Strong. Jonah Benoit added 20 points, while Dominic Morrow had 18 points and 19 rebounds. Strong and Morrow are two of the team's four seniors.
Finlandia finishes the season 5-18.
