To the editor:
The Adams Township School District Foundation First Annual Fundraiser, held on May 3, 2014, was a huge success! We have many people to thank for supporting our Foundation Board. Our Adams Township School District superintendent, Tim Keteri, keeps us informed with ideas on how we can support teacher and student inspired programs in our school district.
Chairman Marty Iskra and his wife Gale did an excellent job of organizing the dinner along with his committee and the other Board members. The auction, handled by Jim Manderfield, was also a success with items donated by Jeffers High School Shop Teacher Gary Miller, Martin and Sandra Johnson, Dave and Dianne Stimac of Birdseye-Connection and Executive Chef Mark Pittillo. Dale Pisani of Pisani Distributing and Ben Campioni of Campioni Enterprises helped us with beverages for the evening. The table decorations, provided by the Flower Shop, provided the finishing touch to a perfect venue at Tim and Sue Landers' Brownstone Hall in Atlantic Mine.
Chef Mark Pattillo and his staff prepared an excellent meal, which was enjoyed by all guests. The fun-filled evening, supported by the community, helped us to exceed our expectations of success. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to all who attended or contributed in any way to the success of the evening. Because of limited seating, we apologize to those who were turned away.
