HOUGHTON - Nine players had at least three hits for Erickson Crowley Peterson in a 25-4 Copper Country men's slowpitch victory over the Marley Bar at Hancock Driving Park.
Leading the way was Jason Van Straten, who had five hits. Tim Lofquist had four and seven others (Jeff Miller, Buddy Londo, Pat Brunk, Jon Boever, Steve Matson, Josh Turunen, Jeff Daegler) had three. Londo and Lofquist both homered.
Post 90/Lakes Lounge edged North Pointe Trucking 19-18. Joe Rivest and Dennis Dobes had three hits each for the winners.

In an 18-3 win over Auto Value, Matt Hampton went 5-for-5, while Joel Vertin, Jack Benson and Jordan Johnson were all 4-for-5 and Steve Dunstan 4-for-4. Kevin Tormala and Aron Butkovich added three each.
In the other game, Bucko's/Labatt's took down Coca-Cola/Miller's Recreation 29-10. Johnson was 5-for-5 with a triple. Tormala, Vertin, Butkovich and George VanDenburg all had four hits and Brad Anderson, Charlie Kemppainen, Matt King and Dunstan three.
